I got a nautical-themed Pashmina afghan

Just like human balls

I have a new favourite lyric of all time. It’s from I’m on a Boat by The Lonely Island:

“I’m on a boat and it’s going fast and
I got a nautical-themed Pashmina afghan”

Although it’s obviously crowbarred in, it’s still impressive that they got it in, and it is just amazing. Perfect. As art, this single line makes this song more important than the works of van Gogh and Picasso put together.

My previous long-standing favourite was from a song called Race Car Ya-Yas by Cake:

“The land of race car ya-yas
The land where you can’t change lanes
The land where large fuzzy dice still hang proudly
Like testicles from rear view mirrors”

Actually, when I think about it, Cake probably takes most of my top 10 all time list. Another song called Italian Leather Sofa from the same magnificent album, Fashion Nugget, has a great chorus:

“They laugh, they make money
He’s got a gold watch
She’s got a silk dress and healthy breasts
That bounce on his Italian leather sofa”
